2 things that don't matter anymore in the AI era
2 things that don't matter anymore: work and skill.
You paid an agency 1,500 for a website - you pay for the time they spent on it and their expertise. Video editing, graphic design, writing, paid ads, client support.
Now you open Claude Code and have a fully functional website in 1 hour. That looks better than the one from the agency.
2 things that matter right now: workflows and access.
Workflows. Your agency currently serves 5 clients. You can spend a week creating workflows for serving those clients, so that 80% happens automatically. Now you can onboard clients, plug them into the workflows - and have capacity for 30 clients. You super-speed the delivery.
You should focus on improving the quality and results of your work, not doing the work.
Access. Access to your infrastructure. You package your know-how, or a unique problem you solve, and have people pay for using it and building on it themselves.
Open your software, service or product to LLMs. Until now, websites and apps were designed for humans. This is changing. In a few years, most of your traffic will be other people's AIs. Create an MCP server, an API, a CLI.
